Cristiano Ronaldo’s wife, Georgina Rodriguez, has recently been thrust into the public spotlight after sharing the heart-breaking tale of the loss of one of her newborn twins in 2022.
The emotional scene aired as part of the trailer for season two of Georgina’s Netflix series, I Am Georgina.
“This year I had the best and the worst moment of my life in an instant. Life is hard. Life goes on. I have reasons to move on and be strong,” Georgina said in the clips.
The couple shared the happy news that they were expecting twins in October, 2021.
However in April the following year, Georgina, 29, and Cristiano, 38, revealed to fans via Instagram that only one daughter, Bella, had survived birth.
“It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away. It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel,” they wrote.
The trailer for season two of I am Georgina, which hits Netflix on March 24, also shows glimpses of Georgina’s seemingly ultra glamorous life, including her 28th birthday in Dubai, where Cristiano lit up the famous Burj Khalifa tower in her honour.
But according to the trailer, all is not what it seems in the picture perfect life of Georgina and Cristiano. “Over 40 million people follow me. But no one really knows how I feel,” she teases.
